Sevilla FC boss, Julen Lopetegui, analysed the meeting with GNK Dinamo Zagreb in the Maksimir, a night in which his team achieved qualification for the next phase of the UEFA Europa League: "Our outlook is a positive one as our name will be in the hat for the next round and it's not easy. Playing on these types of pitches isn't simple neither, we saw what happened with Tottenham last year. We knew we were going to suffer and we couldn't get carried away with the first leg's result. We chipped away and we broke down a good team, mainly in the second half, although we didn't manage to score. Little things like the penalty kept them in the game, that's what happens in European competitions but we were able to keep hold of the lead."

"We had plenty of chances, but the pitch was soft and slippery. For some reason we weren't able to score that illusive goal that we so deserved. At top level football, you can suffer when you don't score." pointed out Lopetegui.

In closing, the boss spoke about the Diego Carlos injury and the upcoming derby: "We have to wait until tomorrow for Diego Carlos, he isn't one to leave the field just like that. We will approach the derby like we would any other. We will go out there with eleven energetic and optimistic players."
