LOPETEGUI: "IN FOOTBALL YOU HAVE TO TAKE YOUR CHANCES"

Sevilla FC's coach spoke to the media after the draw against Celta and spoke also about the UEFA Europa League

Julen Lopetegui spoke to the media after the home game against Celta de Vigo. Sevilla FC's coach gave his general overview first of all: "We deserved more, but in football you have to take your chances and we weren't able to carve out too many clear goal-scoring opportunities. They managed to score in the one clear chance that they had".

The Basque coach spoke of his side's dominance and the effective way in which they set up to play against Celta: "A team that only concedes one clear opportunity to Celta can consider themselves to be solid, but we were exposed and these things happen in football".

Likewise, Lopetegui commented on the poistives that he will take away from the game, even if it was two points lost in the end instead of one point gained: "We had a lot of good moves that could have resulted in a goal; we weren't able to score in the first half and in the second half it was hard to come by too. We dominated, but we are disappointed because ultimately we have lost two points".

"In Europe each game is a battle"

Lopetegui concluded by giving a brief evaluation of the Europa League draw which took place in Monaco on Friday. "In time we will look at it more deeply. Apoel have recently been on the fringes of making the semi-finals of the Champions League and Qarabag drew twice with Atlético twice a couple of seasons ago. We have to concentrate on the actual teams, not the names; and in Europe each game is a battle".
