Sevilla FC are an example of inspiration both on and off the pitch, for their fighting spirit and their ability to overcome which characterises them both in the good and bad. The club has made "Never Surrender" a key part of their DNA and their way of understanding and living life.

Sevilla FC promote these values and no one embodies them more than our latest inductee to the club's Hall of Fame, Juan Carlos Unzué. The former player, who made public his diagnosis with MND in 2020, has become, in each and every one of his public appearances, one of the main voices of hope for everyone with the illness. An illness that is practically invisible for the majority of society and at Sevilla FC, we wish to give visibility to Motor Neurone Disease, collaborating with Juan Carlos Unzué.

Working alongside Juan Carlos Unzué, Sevilla FC wish to give visibility to MND

Everyone at the club has come together to create this powerful message. The president, vice president, sporting director, players of both the men's and women's teams, a representation from our academy and employees from all sectors of the club have come together to show that "we can all stop MND." With the firm conviction of "If you Never Surrender, we can stop MND", the club have put in action various initiatives through their foundation.

The sale of a solidarity scarf with the message "Never Surrender. Life is worth it" will see all the proceeds going towards the protection and help of those with the illness through the MND Foundation Andalusia. It is available in official club stores and on our website.

The book signing on Wednesday was a complete success, with the book selling out in the store

The book signing of Juan Carlos Unzué's book "Una vida plena", which saw Unzué, Monchi and Lopetegui signing over 500 copies, was a complete success. The book completely sold out in the store and demonstrated the support our club and fans wish to show to the latest member of our Hall of Fame.
