LALIGA CONFIRMS THAT THE NEXT TWO MATCHDAYS WILL BE PLAYED BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

Due to measures taken by the authorities to try to contain the spread of Covid-19, LaLiga has, today, confirmed that Matchdays 28 and 29 of LaLiga Santander will be played behind closed doors. It comes from a decision taken by the Government, which has been passed on to LaLiga after the Council of Ministers met on Tuesday to discuss the issue.

Therefore, El Gran Derbi on Sunday 15th March, at 21.00, will be played behind closed doors in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. In addition, Sevilla FC's following league fixture, which will be played at the Estadio Ciutat de Valencia against Levante UD on Sunday 22nd March, at 18.30, will also be played without fans in the stadium.
