KOUNDÉ PLAYS THE FULL GAME FOR FRANCE U21s AS THEY QUALIFY FOR THE U21 EUROS

The first Sevilla FC international to return from his duties has been Jules Koundé. The French centre-back, who did not play against Liechtenstein, played the full game in France's victory against Switzerland. There was not much at stake in Caen as both teams had already qualified for the tournament that will take place in Hungary and Slovenia. However, as a result of their victory and goal difference, France have finished top of the group. 

Les Bleus went in front thanks to two goals from Glasgow Celtic's Edouard in the first half. The Swiss halved the deficit at the end through Nantes' Kolo, but it was too late. Koundé looked in control throughout the game and was partnered in defence by Monaco's Badiashile.
