Jules Koundé has been called up by Didier Deschamps, the manager of the French national team, for EURO 2020, which begins next month. The centre-back has been included in a 26-man squad for the tournament. After featuring for France U21 this season, Koundé has received his first full international call-up, after an extraordinary season in Nervión.

France have been drawn in Group F at EURO 2020, which truly is a group of death. They will need to overcome Germany, Portugal and Hungary to reach the knockout stages.
