Sevilla FC's manager was happy with the win against Deportivo Alavés

Sevilla FC's manager, Joaquín Caparrós, was happy after his team's win against Deportivo Alavés at the Sánchez-Pizjuán: 'I'm very happy, especially with the players' effort. The team was mentally prepared, they created many chances and we were fortunate enough to get the goal. The team was switched on, prepared... We knew what was at stake. Things went well for us and we are happy.'

'Alavés are a very hard-working team who know what they're doing and they can score at any moment. However, we were focused throughout the game. Now it's time for the players to rest. We can enjoy the win but not for too long because we have another important game on Sunday,' he added.

To finish, he praised Sarabia's performance, the midfielder scoring a goal and setting one up: 'He is an important player who can score goals. I'm happy that he's back and for how well he played.'
