"Everyone in this squad can play. The players who are not playing are just as capable as the ones who are"

Jesús Navas, captain of Sevilla FC, was the guest on last night's edition of 'A Balón Parado'. He spoke about the current season with the team, and what it's like to play alongside his teammates, not before taking a moment to remember his great friend, José Antonio Reyes: "José Antonio has always been beside me, he was an incredible human being. We are left with his memory now, and he always helped us in any way he could".

The right-back assured us that he's just focused on continuing to enjoy himself in a Sevilla FC top: "I'm a demanding person I'm always taking it day by day in order to keep on improving. I don't get caught up in all the things I've achieved. I came back to Sevilla to win more trophies". Jesús Navas emphasised the fact he wanted to lift another trophy in a Sevilla jersey: "I think it's the least the fans deserve. Winning another trophy would be huge".

Cuerpo Inferior

Talking about his recent form, he noted that "physically I feel good, as I've always said. You don't know when injuries are going to happen". To finish off, he spoke about the quality in the current squad: "I said it in pre-season, that I saw a team that was made to do big things. Everyone in this squad can play. The players who are not playing are just as capable as the ones who are. This is extremely important for all the matches and competitions we have coming up".
