On his part, Rekik valued the win. "We came off the back of losing and Celta is a good team, therefore we are very happy. When we play together in defence we have many opportunities to win. We have things to improve but winning makes us happy. This team knows enduring to defend the score and we will go to work so that we score goals in the first half."

Finally, Gudelj, the defensive colleague of the Dutchman from the beginning, claimed that "the game today was very important, and we have shown that this team is prepared to compete with any player. The concentration has been key because we have not had many chances and it took us a long time to start to control the game at the beginning. The points were very important and this we knew that it was very difficult on this pitch. We have competed together, everyone and as a team."
