As he did last Friday in Belgrade against Lithuania, Nemanja Gudelj once again played the full 90 minutes for Serbia on the second day of Euro 2024 qualifying, this time away to neighbours Montenegro. The Sevilla man once again played in the centre of defence and contributed to the all-important win, which sees Serbia take sole leadership of Group G with six points. The game was decided ten minutes from time with a goal from Vlahovic, who scored his brace in the final minute of stoppage time.

Serbia are three points ahead of Hungary - with a game in hand - and Montenegro. With zero points, Lithuania - also with a game in hand - and Bulgaria close the table. In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Montiel and Acuña's Argentina will play against Curaçao, while before that, in the evening, Bono and En-Nesyri will face Peru in Madrid.
