INAUGURATION OF THE SFC SOCCER ACADEMY IN NEWARK

Some two hundred children will be educated in this school which boasts of coaches trained by Sevilla FC

The President of Sevilla FC, José Castro, is in the United States along with the advisor of the Marketing team, Luis Galán, the Director of Marketing, Ramón Loarte, and the Director of Communications, Jesús Gomez, inaugurated the SFC Soccer Academy in New Jersey on Wednesday. Around 200 children will be educated in this school, whose headquarters is none other than the Waterfront of Newark, in New Jersey's stadium, with the facilities being of almost exclusive use for the school.

In addition to Sevilla's President, who in his speech underlined the importance of 'transmitting through the coaches, trained in Sevilla, the values and know-how of Sevilla FC.' Carlos M. González was also present, the city councillor of Newark. He made reference to the fact that 'for this city, it's key that children have fun playing sport,' as well as thanking Sevilla FC for choosing to establish a school in his city.

This is the first of the schools which the President will inaugurate in the coming hours, in addition to this one in Jersey City, there will be one in Miami in Florida.
