Sevilla FC's centre-midfielder, Gudlej, spoke to the media to evaluate last night's draw away to CFR Cluj: "We knew the type of game it was going to be. It was a tough first half as we expected with a lot of long balls. We were concentrated throughout, and I don't think they had any real opportunities. They didn't trouble our goal apart from the penalty in the second half. We started the second half off poorly, as they were putting in a number of dangerous crosses. After the goal, we started to play the game the way we wanted to and we had chances to score. We had opportunities to make it 2-1 as well. At the end of the day, it's not a bad result, as we have to finish it next week. We feel as if we're leaving short-changed".

For the Serbian, the team was compact throughout: "We knew what the game was going to be like. We were concentrated from the get-go". In addition, he spoke positively about the squad: "We speak a lot amongst ourselves. We played with confidence because we know we're a good team and we want to get out of this tough patch we find ourselves in. I think we did quite well today. It's another step on the road to getting our confidence back and winning games".

Gudelj said that the team have showed this confidence throughout the campaign: "In the recent games, we haven't been the Sevilla that we know we are. Sometimes this happens and you have to get out of it as quickly as possible. We've shown today that we've taken a step in the right direction". The result will do the team's moral no harm: "The team's moral is good. Inside the dressing room we're all friends and we help one another when we're in a tricky situation".

Finally, Gudelj evaluated the team's reaction to going a goal down: "After the goal we played the better football. We were concentrated, but I think we were at our best in the half an hour after we conceded".
