GANSO: "I'M EXCITED ABOUT MY FIRST CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GOAL"

Paulo Henrique Ganso always takes advantage of the minutes he gets and this evening was no different in Maribor: "The objective is achieved. We were looking for progression at all times and we've achieved it. In the first-half they had a lot of players in the centre of the field and we couldn't get through. In the second we tried to get outside them and we got more opportunities".

He admitted his goal came with help from Handanovic, though he was happy with it: "The keeper was having a very good match and was saving everything. I managed to shoot from outside the area and with his mistake I've got my first Champions League goal. I'm excited by that and I hope more come. I dedicate this one to my family and kids, who are always supporting me".
