Sevilla FC midfielder Fernando Reges accompanied Julen Lopetegui in the pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow's game against Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16. The midfielder began by stating the team were delighted to be back to Champions League actions: 'It's exciting for all of us and we are fully motivated. It will be very tough: they're a talented and strong team but we are prepared for this huge match.'

Fernando was asked about Dortmund's star player: 'Haaland is extremely talented and he's very good technically. He is strong physically and it's tough to find players with that balance. We are ready. We are aware of the damage Sancho can do us as well. We have to be concentrated and strong in defence, as well as ready to attack them.'

'Even though it might seem they aren't in good form, everything can change in the Champions League'

The Brazilian added that 'Dortmund are the favourites given their history in the competition and what they've achieved. Even though it might seem they aren't in good form, everything can change in the Champions League. We are in a good moment ourselves and the squad is feeling good. We're hoping to get a big result tomorrow - that's our aim.'

'We are delighted to be playing in this competition, but we don't feel any pressure. They are favourites and we're only focused on playing our best match tomorrow. Everything we've achieved is in the past, the only thing that matters is this match. If we don't play well tomorrow it will be a completely different situation. We want to keep another clean sheet even though it will be difficult and, hopefully, win the game.'

'I'm happy to represent Sevilla in the biggest competition in the world'

Fernando ended the press conference speaking about his personal moment: 'I'm delighted to play in the Champions League - it's the biggest competition in the world. I've played a lot of games and I hope tomorrow will be another great match and we can get the quick.'
