The man from Valladolid thinks the surge from Sevilla to seal the win will really help the side

Sergio Escudero spoke about the hard-fought win over Osasuna: "These three points will keep us going in the fight and it was important to win at home today. It's true that it seemed a very comfortable game at 2-0, but when you get distracted in two plays, they've levelled. It's good for us to gain confidence with that siege late on, and it's a deserved win".

The three points will go a long way to achieving the team's aims: "The important thing was winning, we did that. We're still in the fight alongside others for the Champions League and it's a war for us. I think having no midweek match will be good for us to recover, get back to 100% and work hard for the next match".

The next match is a trip to the Metropolitano: "It will be a tough match. It's always difficult against Atlético and we will fight to play as well as we can".
