Sevilla FC Chairman, José Castro, wished to start his press conference today, 3rd June, with heartfelt words for, firstly, those who have passed away because of COVID-19 and their families: "I want to express a heartfelt remembrance for them, as well as showing an immense gratitude for those heroes who have worked for all of us: healthcare workers, doctors, security forces, pharmacists, notaries, supermarket employees, public transport workers... People from many groups who have been working for us and with us during this pandemic, so that we were locked down in the safest way possible".

"In the next few weeks we will give Campanal a mass like he deserves"

And two other names: Campanal and Reyes. The first passed away last week, while on Monday it was one year since the pearl from Utrera left us: "I want to also have a memory with Campanal's family, whose son they wanted to move to Sevilla so he could lie next to his wife, but it could not be. In the next few weeks he will come to Sevilla and we will give him a mass like he deserves".

There were also words in memory of José Antonio Reyes: "On Monday it was a year since the fatal outcome of a player who is a legend and, for us, was, economically speaking, a balm, due to his sale, and gave everything before and after his return".
