CARRIÇO HAS PICKED UP 10 WINS IN THE 10 GAMES HE HAS PLAYED

Sevilla's Portuguese centre-back has picked a win in each of his appearances this season. He has already played more matches than last season and equalled the amount of the season before that

Daniel Carriço is smiling again with Sevilla FC and the good feelings are mutual since it's clear we need the Portuguese centre-back and one of our captains and leaders in the dressing room in this 2018/2019 season. In what is his sixth season for Sevilla, the Portuguese is putting up some numbers which speak for themselves.

Up until now, Carriço has played ten games this season, producing an incredible stat: Sevilla has won every one of those games. Six matches in the UEFA Europa League, the two against Ujpest and Zalgiris, as well as one match against Sigma Olomouc and Standard Liege, in addition to the four consecutive victories in La Liga against Levante, Eibar, Real Madrid and Celta.

Another stat that demonstrates the good from being shown by the Portuguese is that with ten matches already played this season, he has already surpassed the six appearances he made last campaign under Berizzo and Montella and has equalled his total from the 2016/2017 season under Sampaoli. As well as this, in the ten matches Carriço has played in and won this season, Sevilla have only conceded six goals, with the Portuguese forming part of Pablo machín's back three. It is also worth noting that Carriço scored Sevilla's second goal in Valencia which lead to the big win over Levante.
