Sevilla FC and CA Osasuna have reached an agreement for the loan of Sevilla FC midfielder Borja Lasso until the end of the season. The loan will take effect from the 15th of January. Osasuna will complete the purchase of Borja Lasso should they achieve promotion to the Liga Santander, whilst Sevilla FC will maintain buy-back clauses for the duration of the player's contract (until June 2021) should the sale go through.

Francisco Borja Lasso is a centre-midfielder grown in Sevilla Football Club's academy. He was one of LaLiga 1|2|3's best players last season - leading Sevilla Atlético to a fantastic season under Diego Martínez. He had amongst the highest assist statistics in the league, with eleven in the season - a figure which accompanied his three goals scored. His excellent performance in the reserve side led him to a debut in the First Team, a formal call-up to the Senior Squad this summer and selection in Sevilla's Champion League squad. He completes his loan having lacked minutes under Eduardo Berizzo in the first-half of the season, despite starting in Sevilla's league opener against RCD Espanyol.
