Casto Jesús Bancalero Sánchez has passed away this Tuesday, who was a Sevilla player for a good part of the sixties. Coming from the youth academy, Bancalero had the honour of playing Sevilla Atlético's first season in the Second Division in 62/63, before making the step up to the first team where he remained until leaving for RCD Mallorca in 1968. He went on to play for Cádiz CF, Recreativo Huelva, Recreativo Granada, Melilla CF and San Fernando CD, where he hung up his boots in 1976.

His body is resting in the funeral home in El Saucejo, his place of birth. The prayer for the dead will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10:00. Everyone at Sevilla FC sends their sincerest condolences to Bancalero's family and friends. Rest in peace.
