Sevilla FC and AS Roma have reached an agreement for the transfer of Steven Nzonzi to the Italian side. Nzonzi, who this December turns 30, ends his stay after three seasons at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, having arrived in summer 2015 from Stoke City.
In that time, the centre-midfielder has made a total of 136 official appearances as a Sevillista, divided between 90 La Liga matches, 14 Copa del Rey appearances, one Spanish Super Cup fixture, 23 Champions League matches, seven Europa League fixtures and one European Super Cup appearance. He has scored eight goals and made seven assists as a Sevillista. In honours won, he lifted the UEFA Europa League in 2016 in Basel and has become a full French international - lifting the World Cup in Russia this summer with his native side.
