After playing in friendlies with France, Ben Yedder debuted with his national side for the first time in official competition - playing 18 minutes in France's loss to Turkey

Wissam Ben Yedder played his third match for France this Saturday, making an appearance for the first time in official competition. The Sevilla striker could not celebrate his official debut with a win, as the World Champions were defeated 2-0 by Turkey in a EURO 2020 qualifying match. Ben Yedder came on with 18 minutes left to play when his team were already 2-0 down. He was unable to revert the loss for France.
