The Sevilla FC first team squad are now on their well-deserved holidays after finishing the 2019/20 season with a place in next season's Champions League Group Stage and winning the UEFA Europa League for the sixth time, rounding off a dream season after all the difficulties along the way. The Nervionenses also broke a club record for the longest unbeaten runand that run is still unbroken

Since a 2-1 loss to RC Celta at Balaídos back in February, the Blanquirrojos have now gone 21 matches unbeatenan undisputed record throughout the history of the club. 12 wins and 9 draws in those matches means Sevilla FC have gone over three months unbeaten in all competitions (excluding the times where football had been suspended).

Just 8 defeats in the 54 official matches in 2019/20

These numbers make the overall record for the 2019/20 season even better, where, in all 54 matchessince the season began at the RCDE Stadium, Sevilla FC have lost on just eight occasions. Only Real Madrid (twice), FC Barcelona, Eibar, Villarreal, the aforementioned Celta, APOEL Nicosia and Mirandés were able to beat the Nervionenses in 2019/20

The next match, provided there is no LaLiga fixture before then, is a huge opportunity to continue this unbelievable spell, against Bayern Munich, who won the UEFA Champions League yesterday, in the UEFA Super Cup in Budapest
