Sevilla FC has surpassed ten million followers on its social media accounts. The club now joins the list of teams that have reached this symbolic figure, which until now consisted of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, and Atlético de Madrid. This achievement has been based on the variety of digital content and strategic plans for digitization and internationalization. This has resulted in an increase of 2.9 million new followers so far this season, representing a 40.62% increase compared to the previous campaign. The biggest growth has occurred on TikTok, where Sevilla FC is closing in on three million followers.

Sevilla FC is not only the fourth largest team in Spain in terms of followers on social media but has also surpassed the two most followed clubs on social media in the rest of the Iberian Peninsula, Portuguese sides Benfica and Porto. The club continues to consolidate its international presence with specific social media accounts in China, and official accounts in English, Japanese, and Arabic. In fact, in China, Sevilla FC has been the seventh fastest-growing European club on the main social network, Weibo.

The majority of followers are on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram, although the ambitious strategic plan implemented involves the continuous exploration of new avenues for Sevilla FC to best bring its followers and supporters around the world closer. For example, the recent launch on the rapidly growing social network Twitch.
