Fernando Reges was one of the stars of the show last night as Sevilla overcame Levante in the Copa del Rey Round of 32, and he also got on the scoresheet: "I'm pleased with how we played and happy to get on the scoresheet. It's not everyday that I score, but today I did just that and for that I'm delighted. But, I'm more pleased with how the team played. Now, we have to continue like this and we'll wait and see whether or not it means we can keep on winning".
FERNANDO: "WE DIDN'T LET LEVANTE HAVE MUCH OF THE BALL"
The midfielder went on to explain his goal: "I saw Nolito, but the defenders followed me and I dummied and then put the ball in the back of the net". In addition, the team didn't lose their patience: "We had a lot of the ball, we passed it around calmly and now we have to continue to do that in all games".
Fernando believes that this was one of the team's best performances at home all season: "I think so - especially for the possession and the calmness that we had. We didn't let Levante have much of the ball". Furthermore, he wasn't holding back when speaking about the team's objectives for this competition: "Sevilla always fights until the end to win the Copa, and we're going to go as far as we can to do so".
