Sandro Ramírez spoke to the media on the day of his presentation. The Everton-loanee was grateful for the opportunity offered by Sevilla FC: "I wanted to thank the club for the effort it's made for me to be sitting here. It has been a complicated negotiation, there are secondary matters but the important thing is that I am where I wanted to be. Now I don't have the World Cup in mind and instead, want to fight for a place and to score goals".

Expanding on having to fight for a place, he spoke about competition: "They are good players, there is good competition up-front. It is good for the coach since there are more options". He didn't see his late arrival as problematic: "I have been training with the group with total normality, without any physical problem, and I am available to the coach when he wants to use me".

He also commented on the choice of Sevilla and Sevilla FC, an attractive option in both football and setting: "It's totally different, in life and in football, we have the opportunity to come to Seville, a great club and a great city to enjoy and work in. I chose Seville because it is a great club with a lot of history. When you think of Seville you think about the stadium, the fans, how you experience football ... it's a big step. I want to put myself in the hands of the coach and enjoy working with my teammates and we'll see what happens in the future".

He finished by talking about the first-leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals, an clash he watched from the stands after signing the contract on the very same Wednesday morning: "I saw it from the stands. We had a good first half and put ourselves ahead. In the second-half we lost possession, but in a two-leg tie it is important to score away from home. And we still have the second-leg at our own stadium".
