Clement Lenglet has become one of Sevilla FC's undroppable players. The Frenchman stands alongside Sergio Rico as the only Sevillista to have played every minute under Vincenzo Montella. Just as impressively, he is the only player to have strung together over three thousand minutes of football, having played 3,026 in 35 matches. He's followed by Sergio Rico with 2,725 minutes and Sergio Escudero with 2,610.

Since the Round of 32 in the Copa del Rey against Cartagena, he has not missed one minute of football

Lenglet also leads the stats in matches played - tied with Pablo Sarabia - though the Frenchman has started more games than anyone else. He has only missed four games in the current season - three for tactical reasons (against Liverpool, Las Palmas and Cartagena) and one through suspension against Real Sociedad. Navas and Banega with 34 games each trail Lenglet and Sarabia.

In the just over a year he has spent in Nevión, Lenglet has played 55 matches and his leadership from the left-flank and centre of defence has defied his years (turning just 23 in June).

With four goals (three headed) he's the fourth leading scorer in the squad

On top of his crucial role in terms of minutes in the squad, the defender has also made a big goalscoring contribution in the 17/18 season. He scored the equaliser in the opening game of the season against Espanyol, in victories against Spartak Moscow and Villarreal and in the loss to Betis. Three of the four goals came from headers. Lenglet is the fourth highest scorer in the squad, tied with Banega in all competitions and on his own in La Liga goals. He's having some season to say the least.
